The reason I asked was because I've seen in the past that by lowing the concession prices the game's totals go down also no matter what the fan base was rated. Lower prices should increase sales but I haven't seen it.

always set concession prices around 20% more than what the auto set gives you - if the game will be a blowout go max prices but I don't take the time to do that I just set it once for the season and let it ride

Yeah... what Reddog says. The game doesn't work well when you try to apply logic to things. Logically, you are correct. In Real Life, if you lower the prices, you increase sales. But in GLB Life, the CPU fans buy no matter what... and they adjust their buying based on the outcome/score of the game. Blowouts get you most money. Losses probably not so good.

Then why not max out the concession prices?

then they won't buy as much

it used to be set at max until they changed things

I go auto set +20% or so - but somewhere between autoset and max there is a sweet spot

Now I'm confused. Reddog, in one quote you said that the score determines concession sales but in the last quote from you it seems to indicate that fan support does. Providing that fan support and pricing are connected.

I used to max them out and would sell less but make more money. Then I stopped doing it when I read that Bort had changed things. Has anyone maxed out the prices to see what would happen?

I make no reference to fan support

In Blowout games - max pricing

In non blowout games set at various pricing levels and compare sales and game scores - in non blowouts revenue was lower with maxed out pricing than in between auto-set and max

I have too many teams to monitor all this game to game so I set it once when I take over CFOing for a team and concentrate on adjusting ticket prices based on fan support instead
