Depends entirely on what piece you need.
If you need a 5% piece, roll for all of them between lv 41-51. If you buy it, that's 75 BTs. That is 25 tries rolling, and you are more likely to get the piece in 10 or so tries at lv 41-51 if not less.
However, if you're rolling for an SA piece that is 18 BTs then just buy it since you may not get it in 6 rolls. Honestly, some of the SA pieces that cost 36 BTs don't always pop up, and sometimes it's better to buy those too.

Not true it would cost 125 BT's just for the +3 in the attribute plus a 5% piece.
That's not even counting the BT cost up to that level which would be around 9 more points to fill that attribute.
that's another 270 BT's to cover that...Total cost of the perfect piece for that level player would be 395 BT's for 1 Piece of AEQ if bought right out.

total cost for that piece would be 425 if built completely once fully upgraded, does not matter what level you are when you buy it, cost is the same.

some positions are easy to roll
QB's might be the easiest
But I roll for most and might build 1 for a player
