The game has been stagnant for 5 seasons and people don't really care to recreate the same shit over and over again.

bhall representing both games well.

"GLB1 is the same shit over and over."
"GLB2 is boring for people after a month."

I do like your honesty, it's kind of refreshing to be honest to get those opinions from a GLB rep.

I am my own person with my own thoughts. Has GLB1 changed over the course of 5+ seasons? No. So ya if you were making a rookie team today it would be no different than the thoughts that went into creating my Omaha BEEF team several seasons ago. A stagnant game is what people wish they never wished for.

Meh, it really has nothing to do with the sim, as the dot decline started before leaving beta. People just moved on. It happens.

You know the game is in trouble when the WL is getting so low on talent that I have two players there this season.

That too. But a stagnant sim leaves people bored. The ever changing sim kept people on their toes and changing their ideals. You see it in the VPB's especially littered in every forum. I don't even have to click on a thread to know what the build looks like 99% of the time.

I took on a couple guys with no SA's at WR and CB last season just to fill a lineup. 10 seasons ago I wouldn't have taken dots like that for a regional pro competitive #9 league.

That's because you have skills to pay the bills.....

On a serious not, the forums are a lot quieter than they were before but that is sometimes a reflection on time. I would agree that telling the user base that a new game is coming would affect the current game.

Who is buying a PS3 / Xbox 360 with the PS4 / Xbox one coming soon?

Dont take offense my friend.

An honest opinion about both games and their shortfalls is welcomed from a GLB representative.

This game don't have to be stagnant. It's just a matter of doing a face lift....incorporating some simple changes.

The foundation of the game is very sound. It needs a new look, and give off the feeling that it's priority is to make the gaming experience fun, and exciting.

Only the creators can do that.

The game needs tweaks to slightly adjust styles and trends in the game. Football has evolved over the years and GLB needs to follow suit. It could work as long as they don't do the massive over correction that they are known for.

Not that I am representative of the average GLBer, but I don't think that's entirely the truth. I've been here since season 5 and I can still imagine 20-30 more seasons before I got bored of the game, even if nothing changed.

Yep, most people don't give two shits about the sim. I don't personally know anyone that left citing the sim being bad, boring, or anything for their reason for leaving. Most of the ones I know that left did so because there was nothing "fun" added to the game (like mini games), they were fed up with forum moderation, or they felt like the Lone Ranger thanks to the decline in the userbase.

Cool I guess. The only reason I am continuing my builds right now is fear I won't have any to recruit a couple seasons from now.

Not just the sim. Player building. Everything. The big decline to the userbase didn't start until the game came to a dead stop. Before that it was just a regular decline any game goes through after so long.
