Yeah... but you have to go through regular Navy boot before you can go to SEAL boot.

I left for basic and GLB changed majorly. From my experience, here are some tips:

1) You are about to go do something great. Don't worry about this dumb shit and go do what you need to do.
2) Keep an open mind. They will fuck with you for no reason just to make life stressful. It's part of learning and part of growing. Don't ever believe that you are the reason for something or treat anybody else that way either. Ultimately, they will find something regardless.
3) You are a member of a team. Work together and support each other.
4) Remember that you all come from different backgrounds. Some will know shit that others won't and some will have skills others won't. Learn from each other and don't ever look down on one of your teammates for coming from a different path of life than you.

Do us proud brother. Best of luck!

Nice!

Good luck in boot camp, if someone's going to be helping you with your account send us a message over at support so we can make a note of it so you avoid issues.

I'm guessing former Marine, eh? We toted your butts all over the Pacific ocean. Yer not a bad bunch... just a little fulla yerselves. I still got some buds from those ocean cruises. BTW, have you ever ran the SEAl course in San Diego? Damn thing nearly kilt me.

Did my first boot ever at Jackson. The orange sand won't ever come outa your white T-shirts. Just throw 'em away when yer done there. And my MOS school was at Leonardwood. Nice place really. Just don't take the jeeps out for some "off road testing" on the gunnery range. I put in some serious quality KP time for that doozey.

Yes. Make it personal. Take it personal. You'll see plenty of recruits goofing off and joking away their time. It's only 8 weeks long and you're gonna have a LOT of stuff to learn... so whenever you got downtime, keep learning... keep studying. Take serious pride in the job you do. Not to make yer momma proud... or yer country either. Make yourself proud. You do that... you put 110% of all you got into whatever you do and you'll come away with a work ethic second to none. I went through 2 bootcamps in 2 different services and am very proud of all I learned and did while I was working for uncle sam. It's an awesome experience... even the stuff everyone else complains about. The marching in the cold rain... the overloaded backpacks you carried forever... the harassing from the DI's... everything you do has meaning and purpose. Never forget that and treat it with the respect it deserves and you'll have a great boot. Good luck and keep yer head down.

You have some p good people associated with ya. I would hit up Sellars or Kayoh. Don't let that bonerhead track mess with your dots. He's a bad apple.
