Originally posted by TheCrazyTomato I see these replies, and no offense they make me chuckle. You do realize that majority of the players are casual players? Players want to build their players put them on a team, and watch the progress. 5 minutes a day, every 2-3 days. Most people don't want to scour forums looking for owner history etc... just to see if the team he/she might join is going to go down the toilet.
You guys are talking about having to be active in the social glb world. That shouldn't be a must. As a casual player, I shouldn't be forced on 8 teams and make a forum post about how its annoying as hell, just to get on a team that might last longer than a season.
You can take my observation or leave it, doesn't matter to me, I am only pointing out a negative that will more than likely cause me to leave this game, and looking at what GLB is now compared to what is was in seasons 1-10 I think it needs as many players as it can get.
My suggestion, because what is a complaint without a solution of some sort? .. Force teams to pay for multiple seasons. If you want to own a team, then make them buy it for 3+ seasons. That won't stop the issue, but it will help.
Your post is full of contradictions and hypocrisy, tbh.

Very true.
"The problem with this game is that team owners don't take their teams seriously! I want to force team owners to take their teams seriously so that I don't have to take my players seriously!"
Yeah, he can't be bothered to log on for more than 5 minutes every few days but expects other users to have to commit to this game long term. Just another random guy that thinks team owners are GLB staff or something.
The offers where the owner/recruiter takes the time to explain the team's track record of success, future plans, and why they want your dot are probably going to be better teams to play for than offers that read like they were mass messaged.
GLB takes effort truly succeed, OR some social activity until you find owners/coords who put forth the effort and you can join and be along for the ride.
One other good way is to expand your players when you have the chance. If you have some flex to burn check out the "teams looking for players" thread. You'll see new teams recruiting and the ones that fill fast and get comments on the owner being good are the ones to go to. Build some cheap dots for those teams. Minimal investment and not a big time requirement especially with auto train enacted but a great way to know more agents without spending hours on here and getting in with the good ones.
