To Clarify, this is my primary reason for the post.
Dot numbers are hitting a critical point, time to consolidate to maintain playability.
Or advertise like hecko.

I agree....to a point.
Unfortunately I think we have reached that point.
The point being where the dot population can not sustain the broad range of leagues.
If we could see a road to increasing dot numbers, the last thing I would urge is contraction. As I have argued long and hard in the past contraction says the game has issues.
But there is no road there now. Now its a matter of stemming the flow of agents out the door.
And half empty teams in the "competitive" levels of play suggests the flow is increasing.

Can't and don't care are two different things. And not sure what a one and done PW beating a rookie team being built for the long haul proves. I've forgotten more about this game than you will ever learn, jabroni. Go back to your wittle PW forum and stay there.

As well as PW. Both are a waste of server and Bort's time. Not to mention it spreads out the userbase.

A lot of the forums are a waste to server space as well -- and bring in absolutely no revenue at all.
Where is the suggestion to eliminate them????
Elimination of Casual would cause more of us than you realize to leave -- because we do not have the time to set up AIs but enjoy owning teams.
And we also create players for our teams (and others) as well as spend flex on scrimmages.
Contraction into fewer leagues is the answer -- not eliminating a viable source of income.
Or maybe contract to 12 teams in a conference instead of 16 and have more inter-conference games to make up the difference.

You need less teams in both Normal and Casual leagues.
They need to go back to the waiting list and control the number of teams sold.
This is not good for business but it would be good for the game.

I agree. Then they can add/subtract leagues as demand has it.
I'm not a fan of casual myself, never have been, never will be.... but they still should have that option, if it is their preference.

Why would GLB eliminate a revenue stream?
Even if one agent leaves because of the elimination of casual then it was a bad move. And I know more than one agent would quit GLB if they eliminated casual.
logic fail in OP

lolwut?
The forums are the biggest source of revenue for this site. Get rid of the forums and see how many users are left.

this is exactly right. If they did some kind of RPG "unlock" thing where someone had to earn the right to buy a team, it'd solve a bunch of problems.
