If, for whatever reason, the owners believe it is not economically feasible to incorporate into the game, an explanation would be a much better way to respond, rather than NGTH. That is rude, demeaning and frankly uncalled for, considering the tenor with which the suggestion was made. Keep in mind the suggestion was made with a solution to complete the thought.
Regarding your 4 points, point 3 can't take that long, considering the point of finishing what they commenced when setting up the shopping scenario. Also, point 4 is all about money. The vision of the game likely has an end goal of providing retirement for the developers. Additions to the game that assist in that goal becoming reality, deserve much more than a callous NGTH response.

What we need is a goddamn admin besides Catch22 that gives a shit about this game and only this game so it can become the premiere Football MMO we all know it can be. The flex is not to expensive and many of us are willing to keep buying it if we see it evolve. This game/business could be one hellva cash cow if someone gives it a clear direction and brings in some fresh expandable vision.

Secondly, Catch, Bort, et al already do a good job of protecting what they've achieved--they (eventually) reject crackpot ideas that would undermine what already works. This particular thread is just a not-really-disguised reaction to the "change shopping" thread that was locked. The suggestion in that thread was terrible and displayed a lack of understanding of how "games of chance" work. I'm glad bad ideas are (eventually) identified as bad ideas and shut down rather than any pretense of a "expandable vision" being thrown about.
