Comparing GLB games to NFL games?

This can't end well

NFL games is what everyone wants when they come to GLB

Its not until years of disappointment have beaten it out of a player that he finally accepts GLB for what it is.

I wonder why they don't run screens on just about every down in NFL? so odd

shout out to all you lame OCs who have no idea wtf you're doing and try to screen your way to 13 points.

GG

You know, last night in the Q&A, Catch said if someone was to send him a message with real figures on screens, he'd take a look.

Cowboys ran a few sets with 4 TEs.

The Seahawks were great at screens when Holmgren was around. Of course, it didn't hurt having Jones and Hutchinson, plus those were the only kinds of passes that Alexander could catch.

the main problem is that the intricacies of the slight differences in "short pass" doesnt translate well at all into glb...partly due to the mechanics of the game, and mostly due to the pre-determined gameplan before the game

the strategy of play calling, to exploit a defense or offense on the fly doesnt exist. Having a receiver run a slant instead of a fly, having a player line up a foot outside, etc

glb has to rely on broad sweeps to make it strategic. The difference between a screen and a deep pass, whereas in the NFL they can micromanage and adapt mid-game. GLB is a guessing game played with shotguns.
