I noticed this when looking for a post season 35 scrimm (7/13/13) ...

my rookie dots scrimmed them and lost 118-7 .... they were some bad mofo cpu's

I thought it was a morale contracts thing.

when they became listed as a rookie team , tit's scouting information roster page showed their cpu dots to be lvl 76 -79 ....

They went from having 7 wins this season to having 0 wins overnight?

Guess that was cleared with Tittsburg's owner too before hand.
Either way, someone was going to get screwed.

Darn hamsters

Ok...
So then does this not apply anymore?

And I've already explained this before...

CPU dots auto adjust to level. Obviously most people in rookie on day 1 have unspent SPs. It's not that CPUs are overpowered in Rookie but rather they are adjusting to what they perceive your build should be at lvl. 4.

I've never lost to a CPU in PW or Rookie but I've had a couple of close calls. CPUs cannot beat even a mediocre human owned team in Rookie after the first few games. Should be 200+ point wins around mid-season and beyond unless you fucked something up.

Yea, similar to the 55+ roster bug that happens

Ever seen teams with 56 or 80 players on it?
Awesome lil bug there I must say

Since people are all over the map, including dahman grumpy over a team of CPUs having wins stripped, lol...

From what I understand from Catch, the exact bug was actually that non-archetype CPU dots didn't get adjusted to their opponents come sim time. The level that you see isn't (normally) an issue because CPUs are adjusted.

Tittsburg had a collection of these dots so they caused some rumblings, even with their terribad CPU builds. It went unnoticed for so long because it's not like there were a ton of non-archetype CPUs out there. If a team had a few you wouldn't have picked up on anything because CPUs are still that bad, lol. Being in Rookie it got identified/fixed.

With the bug fixed if you lose to a CPU team you should probably evaluate your team ownership.

First of all, PM Catch and ask him who was one of the people that talked to him about the CPU bug. Hint: I was one of them. While I initially thought there was nothing to the complaints I soon discovered that there was indeed an issue. Probably the worst offender (as far as taking advantage of the bug) was a team in one of my team's league. Rather than cry about it in the forums I discussed the issue with an admin.

Secondly, why are you still bitching about something that's been fixed? I mean, it's pretty sad that you keep on about it.

I don't even think he knows what the bug was, tbh.

Because it was only specific CPU dots. This wasn't a system-wide glitch. Was actually pretty isolated.
