Top preference for me would be the in-position but not-optimally-built dot.

Second preference for me would be a slightly-OOP dot.

Third preference for me would be an in-position and horribly-built dot.

I REALLY don't like putting CPU dots on a roster... I'd rather have a horribly-built human dot than a CPU dot, and I'd only take a CPU if I literally couldn't get ANY human to sign on to fill my roster opening.

Hell, when I had to throw a roster together at the last minute for my side-team last season, I even took a couple of dots that were 40 days behind age-wise but at least had good builds for their age. We were in a weak-ass league, so they actually did fine even though they were under-aged. And I'm pretty sure they did better than CPU dots would've.

This would be an interesting experiment. Have one of each on a team, each playing about the same number of plays at the same position. I would not be surprised if the CPU outperformed many "bad" dots. As long as you negate the CPU penalty, that is.
