It would certainly be a waste.

But I'm considering rolling for my 2 WR's soon...They're lvl 37 currently.
I might do it at level 40-41

wait till 41 if you gonna wait(get another piece)

but I would recommend not rolling more than 3 times. No luck? wait till 51 and try again

Yeah, I've rolled at 31 before too.

What I'm asking is who the fuck rolls for AEQ before Level 31?

A few people, apparently. Not many, though. Certainly more than the people who roll for AEQ before Level 31.

Ques:

If you get 8 options at level 71+ and it costs 3BTs to roll no matter what level, why wouldn't everyone wait until level 71+ to roll? Doesn't it maximize the number of options for the cost?

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Some do.

I don't personally, for 2 reasons. Rolling at lower levels allows me to be more competitive during the Minors, and more importantly, I know from a relatively early age whether it will be a 3 or 4 AEQ dot, how many BTs I will need to do all the upgrades, and therefore, how much longer I can multi train for.

At L31 and L41seems are your best chances of getting a 5% piece. Later it is more likely to get that piece with an attribute you don't want or less than +3 for the attribute. Such as rolling a 5% break block with a +3 blocking or +1 vision, when earlier the store may have given you just the 5% bb and you can add what you want. It may happen later but it seems you just get more junk later.

this, and the fact that all the EQ outputs seem to be pre-archetype, so some archetypes don't want stuff that might be considered a good result for others of the same position. if you have a non-CB returnman, for example, you'll rarely get a good piece without partially building it yourself.
