With that unproductive statement made, I'll offer some additional info.

My Nat Pro team can trade pretty much any player with another Nat Pro team. My Nat Minor can not trade any players with a Nat Pro team.

My Nat Minor team can not trade any players with another Nat Minor team.

Sorry. That comment was not directed at you, fwiw. It was a sarcastic comment because they closed the bugs forum and now no one knows if what they are experiencing is GLB wide or just them or can help with bugs.

Which is why I engaged this in a public forum rather than in the bug ticket. Two bug reports of the same issue warranted it.

Normally everything we've done here would be done on the ticket. I added a link to another trade bug report and have pointed out this thread as well. At this point I agree that something isn't right, just have to wait for the process.

Yeah... if you've every tried to get tar off of your bike... or a straight answer from a politician... then you'll know it takes some time (usually) to get bugs outa the system.

If you open a ticket you can have a conversation about the bug in that report, but that is only available to the person who opened the bug report and to the bug mods.

Seems like if those "unfiled" bugs could be opened to the public - by a moderator - it would allow others to post examples and to have a discussion.

Until the bug is filed, there is no way to see what bugs are pending (unless you opened the bug).

You also lose the "conversation" when you see the report:

Unless you opened the ticket, you cannot see the posts in the second link, and it probably just takes you back to the homepage.

Technically the Bugs forum still exists and can be used exactly as you suggested. In fact, I've asked that this ticket be moved over (or a new thread started) so we can compile more data to pass along.

Closing in on almost 400 bug reports since it was closed, though (of which only the following were filed as bugs http://goallineblitz.com/game/bug_report_list.pl ). The rest were resolved directly through the bug ticket (even if the reporter didn't like the resolution).

i had this same experience--the dots available initiating a trade from one team is different than when doing it from another.

This is most certainly a bug! (imo) I glad to know others have noticed it.

I'll use prep league for an example.
At the start of the season the age group for Prep was day 1 through day 40 players
Currently it's set at d8-d47 http://goallineblitz.com/game/leagues.pl

*The trade offer page is not keeping up with the aging players. (there is no problem signing a d47 free agent)
*So it thinks that all players now over d40 are too old for the league.

I still have the trail of PMs and replies from EB

If you have a prep team and you initiate a trade with another prep team, only the players younger than day 40 will appear in the lists to choose from. This is true with every league that has an age cap and is why pro trades work just fine (no age limit).

I've been trying to explain this to support since july 26th. (some of my replies via PM haven't even been read yet)

I finally gave up last night, and worked out a cut and sign. (thankfully it worked out and the players involved signed the next day)
