I don't mind the cross conference game. If you played in Elite all through Reg Pro, you generally get matched up in a tough game. Last three seasons I have played a top four team from the other conference in the crossover (possibly due to rivalry scores, possibly due to record).

Only teams I see it really affecting are fringe playoff teams. It happens on rare occasions but typically a team fighting for an 8 seed isn't getting past the first round anyway if they do make the playoffs. I've had teams lose out on home field because we played a tougher opponent in week 1 than the team that got the 4th seed but it hasn't happened enough to bother me.

Throw in a completely lulzy game plan for the last pre-season game = win button?

I do think it is a little bit dumb to have the schedule set up that way........ yet another oversight from a dev team that is decent at math but terrible at common sense. One man teams generally have flaws........
