It is important, but not as important as Strength. Strength is not only distance, but velocity.

Natural numbers: 102+ Throwing, 95-100 Strength, 90-95 Vision. imo

Confidence, I have seen talk about (jd and/or bhall) talk about how little it effects the Bad Throws and doesn't help moral spiral as much as it should probably. So Confidence probably doesn't need to go as high as previously thought or currently does. On my newest DP QB I think I am only going to 60ish, then showing a bit more love to Agility and Speed.

+1 for this.

why would throwing and vision be switched instead of strength and vision?

Yea, because you can fudge vision with height sliders, nothing will adjust the Throw attribute.

Why with vision first though.. you can fudge with strength as well can't you? Might as well go with your 2nd attribute if you are going to do that not?Originally posted by T2

Oh yea sure if Strength was your 2nd. Was just an idea. Could still do Vision to 1st cap, switch to Throwing in preseason, take throwing to wherever you would , then do STR next before re-visiting Vision..but the whole time you would be multi training VIS and getting ALG's to it at an already higher cap.

In just thinking out loud and probably not making sense. I know when I think to myself it don't make sense so probably the same when out loud

I agree with Phil da badger mostly. What I do believe is this about Deep vs Pocket QB's:
Throwing is #1 for both... then...
DP -> Strength, Vision, Agility, Confidence.
PP -> Vision, Agility/Strength (both about the same), Confidence (higher than DP).

Does speed and agility help the DP drop back farther, and go through progressions faster? It seems like slow QBs stand at the LOS and take a ton of hurries from the DT/NT, and they seem to lock onto players much longer than the faster/agile QBs.

They help you get back to the pocket to where you can throw quicker yes. Progression speed no.
