Tied for 18th in WL is good imo.

Tied with the highest sack total for a str archetype DE, and wasn't the highest sack total for a lb. 3 LBs tied or ahead of highest LE (guessing w/out looking at which side the other DEs played on), and that's with many DCs not even blitzing LBs.

Blitzing LB rushes the qb way less then LE, so maybe we should make LE useful again?

My point being, people don't bat an eye if a QB has 16k yards or a HB has 90 rushing TDs. If a defender gets 20 sacks, INTs, or FFs in a season it's considered overpowered.

straight up.
a HB gets 100 TDs in a season, no one complains. a LB gets over 20 sacks and blitzing gets nerfed more and more every season.

If any of that happened in a top to bottom competitive league like WL there would be an outcry. I don't think it has. We could probably comb the reg pro leagues and find a blitzing lb with 90 sacks.

If anything is out of whack right now it's the speed DEs again. However, this could very well be caused by LT builds heavy on str (not built to block super fast players). Usually the speed DEs rack up a couple big games against certain tackle match ups. I rarely see a speed DE get 4-5 sacks in a game against good competition.

Maybe the blitzing CBs are still a little exploity, but like 8th Reindeer is a freak build. If we had a blitzing LB with that exact build he might well rack up very similar sack numbers (maybe 25 sacks in WL instead of 35).

My DE has similar numbers:

My LB has way more hurries, about the same number of sacks, way fewer tackles, way more missed tackles, way more tackles for a loss, and fewer forced fumbles.

Maybe it isn't the LBers that are the problem, it is the build or the scheme?

ive already stated this. unless youve been a DC for years, its next to impossible to enjoy blitzing LBs.

Hey bro, if 0.5% of the userbase gets stats than it's obviously fine. It's all equal since offensive dots have to work so very hard to get stats as well.

Not sure why threadkiller is fighting so hard to keep the DPC locked up and his LB nerfed.

good to know i might as well just build DTs and DEs to enjoy the game instead of LBs.

DEs are actually almost getting kinda decent stats. I'm surprised people haven't been screaming for a nerf.

If they buff blitzing LB'ers back to respectability, then people might want them to bring pick 6's back from the grave also. What's next - cats and dogs living together....
