Keep in mind this goes beyond free player slots. As it stands now, when a FA clicks to accept an offer to sign with your team he gets the "this team has the max number at his position" pop up. Trust me when I say 2 TEs is far from the max for my teams.

+1 personally I use as many as 6 TEs on a team usually 2 receiving 1 or 2 blocking and 2 or 3 as st's players.

Getting back (on track) to the suggestion and the valid reason thereof, I completely agree that when GLB expanded the playbooks to include 2 TE sets, they should've bumped up the number to 3 (per team average). Consider there's already the goalline formation which want's 3 TE's in it... and that was before the 2 TE formations. And, yes... we use TE's on ST's... a lot, IMO. Not that there's a rush to build handfuls of them.
