Which would make sense...if over half of the filed bugs weren't already fixed.

I'm not entirely sure how you can look at this
http://goallineblitz.com/game/bug_report_list.pl

And say it is completely being ignored. The majority are either fixed or not really bugs.

LOL.... R&D team.

Look in a bigger company yea, but you're taling about what is essentially a 1 man show when it comes ot the coding/fixing side of things. There is no "team" there is Bort.

The new system stops trolling and keeps people from looking for the exploit of the day. We actually can request a ticket be opened in the bugs forum. It really was better when we had someone who could hit the test server because there was no question about tactics or play design.

In general, bugs mods can mark as issue as a bug.
Lead bugs mods can mark items as bugs and also file items officially as bugs.
Catch has the final say.

We are using the "people weren't nice" definition of trolling.

Yeah, once in a blue moon I would see a mad thread started by someone right after their team dropped a game, but...

It is good when people find the exploit of the day though. That provides more examples.

Just for the record, there have been about 350 total issues submitted as bugs. Of those issues, 72 have been filed. Of the filed bugs, 38 have been fixed, 14 were determined by Bort to be an issue he isn't going to fix, and 20 are outstanding issues. We have 6 active issues.

That leaves about 270 tickets submitted as bugs that fall into one of five categories: 1) Support Issue (http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4459879) - About 20% of tickets, 2) Duplicate (merged into filed bug) - About 10% of tickets, 3) User error/known issue that we are able to help a user with - About 25% of issues, 4) Insufficient information (no follow up from reporter, single replay, private replay, etc.) - About 25% of issues, 5) Working as intended (Issues reported as bugs that really aren't bugs) - About 20% of issues.

Those numbers are rough approximations based off memory. I could be off, but probably not by much.

This actually tells me that isn't really the case though. I love it when they are trying to make a point and they actually make the opposite point.

I wasn't trying to make any point. I was simply providing information. I understood when I was posting the numbers that it was contrary to what Deathblade had posted.

I'll also note, I wasn't speaking for GLB. The only hard numbers are the number of bug tickets submitted, the number of tickets filed, the number fixed, the number that have been classified as won't fix, and outstanding issues. All but total submitted and currently active could be found by the average user here: http://goallineblitz.com/game/bug_report_list.pl

The percentages are rough estimates only. I don't think I'm very far off, but could be.

Half of the filed bugs have been fixed, per Deathblade and AirMcMvp above and per our bugs log. We are very grateful for our Bugs Mods who help sort through bugs submissions. We have a very small group of ppl who can fix bugs, and they are extremely busy. Once a bug is filed it is up to them to fix it, the bugs mods sort of direct traffic.

If you have a concern about a filed bug or a bugs ticket that you believe hasn't been addressed, please message support, we can take a closer look and give you an update on it's status.
