I'm sure 10+ seasons ago someone who lost to the exploitation of the I-slam play made a suggestion to stop it from working. Just because they were personally affected by it does not decrease the legitimacy of the suggestion.

If kickers can be OMVP, why not punt returners? They play on 4th down just like kickers, and they can be responsible for yards gained AND points. Obviously, the answer is "They're not offensive players, so no offensive MVP." And that is exactly my point. If it doesn't apply to punt returners, it has no business applying to kickers.

Also, this has zero do to with dot quality. So to those that actually think so or are just trolling, move on.
