But anyways. As everyone has said. Avoid Sure Hands.

The battle between Possession WR and Soft Hands is ultimately are you targeted 8 yards or less very often in games? For the most part WR's aren't targeted that close imo unless they are really slow or the OC uses an extensive amount of cross patterns (to which I personally find useless most of the time).

In the grand scheme for most OC's in GLB you are likely going to want Poss WR and Mr. Reliable though.

but the +2% KL protection in PR operates on all passes, not just those of <8 yds - so do not discount PR entirely

Good point... I always overlook that detail.

No where in the Poss Rec VA does it say anything about the KL% part working on all passes no matter the distance. You have a quote from bort or catch stating this fact?

I remember them confirming that... I'll have to see if I can work my Google-fu and find the quote.

In the meantime, though, read the VA description again:

Possession Receiver
This player catches short passes with ease. Each level of Possession Receiver gives a +2% bonus to making catches shorter than 8 yards, and a +2% bonus to resisting having the ball knocked loose by a tackle, when playing WR or TE.

Notice the "shorter than 8 yards" part occurs before the comma... it only applies to the first part of the description.

Q: "Possession Receiver" VA: does its knocked-loose protection extend beyond 8 yards?

Bort: Yes

Thanks!

Now if only they'd restore the damn Q&A archives so I wouldn't have to run increasingly-creative Google searches on the GLB site to find this shit...

anyone use Ball Hawk on offensive dots? I've had success with it on scat backs

Better VA usage than Ball Hawk on any offensive dot imo.
