yeah, there are plenty of things for this.

1) owners can set up to deny promotion. Tab comes up at the end of every season.

2) owners can put a ticket request to demote for almost a week. Plenty of teams have dropped out and Support is always ready to make a switch

3) Plenty of teams that just missed the playoffs and have a decent team are always looking to get back in and not have a season in Regional Pro and not waste a season with Plateau dots.

There is no perfect system, but I think this system works well enough - Provided that owners are doing their part.

There is nothing that can be done about this particular situation, but I started this thread to show the flaw in the current system. I think it needs to be looked at and I think the EL is one way to fix it. You know, maybe it's not. Because the current system expects owners to be active and allows one absent owner to essentially crap all over a Pro conference. I'm just saying, GLB needs to put in a tiny bit more control here.

Got it. Glad the system is working as intended.

Actually, the system worked well- teams gutted from WL on downwards, which meant more teams promoted. The team made PL. The owner should then give a PL effort or get bumped back down.

If the team is not going to be competitive at all, why does it exist?

No, there will be no more changes to GLB.

Sure, I'll go tell my absent owner to field a more competitive team 4 games into the season. While I'm at it, I'll fix the build on my Day 582 dot.

Yea, sometimes those random comments that make as much sense as to whatever context it was meant for and to whomever is was meant for, often are simply too smart and wise for many of us to comprehend

I dunno, a message to him like "Hey, did you see we got promoted?" might've made him look into it.

Also still nothing preventing you from contacting Support yourself.

Also, I see your dot has been playing in Minnesota since Season 33, and they got their asses kicked a lot in Season 33 and 34. So, um... you had 2 seasons worth of notice that perhaps you weren't playing for the most skilled or attentive owner. You probably should've gotten out of there a while ago, and something like this -- the team getting promoted and the owner not even noticing -- really shouldn't have been that big of a surprise to you.

But hey, instead of doing any of the things that could've helped you avoid this situation (leaving the team, PM'ing the owner, contacting Support), feel free to spend copious amounts of time on the one thing that can't help you -- whining about it in the forums.

Have fun!

at some point personal accountability takes over.

it's the owners fault, noone else's. You start automating it and there will be even more problems.

Yeah, cause that'll help. Suggestions Forum is where logical posts go to die.

It's not just the Crows, either.

You have the Miami Hookers in North American Pro with an EL of 59.
You have the West Ashley Tigers in South Atlantic Pro with an EL of 63.
You have the Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy in Pacific Pro with an EL of 56.

These teams are going up against ones with EL as high as 83 and so you end up with 255-0 games. If this is how the game is designed to work, then fine. Whatever. Leave it as is and blame it on stupid owners and agents who don't want to retire their dots.
