That is exactly what happened on your last link. WR blocks CB only. The rest take a direct line to the ball carrier, due to low vision they don't see the two dots (CB and WR in the way). You are right, it has been posted over and over. Answer is still the same. It's a poor example for your OP.

Well clearly. Yay, for common ground.

Then you build a WR specifically to block and they do shit like this on a constant basis.

Yeah the takeout blocks that were added about 10 seasons ago are awful

They do it all the freaking time. Drives me nuts. They could have several hundred pancakes if they wouldn't just take a dive all the time.

I wouldn't mind seeing the roles reversed. Low strength non blocking WR's doing those dives all the time while actual blocking WR's hold their ground and get the cake. Would make a ton more sense.

GLB has sim problems?

One can only hope that Bort & Co have learned their lesson, that when there are obvious flaws in your sim, you fix it. Band aids on top of band aids just lead to all sorts of nonsense. (BTW: lol at dots not having enough vision to go around people in front of them, that's flat out laughable programming. Even an infant can do that.)

And then we're back to only being able to rush between the tackles or throwing it deep, and the off chance people who want to waste 900 flex a season on a glorified lineman.

You have to weigh all sorts of factors...and it's hard to come to the conclusion of "blocking WRs" being a viable option over destroying half the offensive options without said blocking WRs.

Maybe those infants should make an online football sim then.

Or you.

I didn't mean the infant could program....
And if I could, I already would have.

But I mean, players getting in each others way actually happens in football.

Programming players to take the perfect route every time is bad programming.
