But i just doesn't seem right the way it is.

1. Either progression should be: 1. Screen 2. Throw ball away or 1. Screen 2. WR1 (or whatever the checkdown is)

Unless your QB is mentally handicapped (and even then...) nothing prevents anyone from checking down on a screen pass. New screen play with the far side WR going out on a route and boom.

Basically screens should just be great plays. Never should lose yardage on a screen.

umm...the fact that your oline is pulling prevents you from checking down.

Guess I should always comment on suggestions based on my team needs and not the functionality of the game. Never said my team doesn't get them either. I know it's hard for you to differentiate being biased from impartiality (like a mod should) but it is possible to give an opinion without it being about benefiting ones self. My original post was after watching a game that I had no part of. Just because you can't doesn't mean no one can

I only brought you up because you said it wasn't your team getting sacked. I don't get sacked often on screens either and all the oline builds on my teams could be better set up or the qb isn't fast enough to get back in the pocket. Having a debate =/= trolling.

I have never banned anyone for having a debate. So your statement is completely false.

Well I don't. Maybe you can bring that up to bort as part of the throw away threshold. I use aggressive anyways so that won't affect my screen game.

BTW you do realize half the defense hauls ass over to where the screen is and just sits around/engages/revcakes your OL (depending on how good they are), then as soon as the ball is thrown they either 1. deflect 2. wait for reception and TFL.

Can't remember off the top of my head, but QB probably won't get sacked (especially when the blitz is weak) if he just chills in the pocket for an extra few seconds.

Now if those WRs on the right were running routes instead of going downfield to block, the QB has more then enough protection to sit in the pocket.
