+1 it. I'm thinking perhaps bottom five from each Cas Pro conference and then ensure the final four teams in each of the two regional pro elites advance to pro as well as the conference champions from competitive 3.

But either way you get the final number, there should be a definitive reasonable percentage of turnover to ensure high quality play and freshness in both the Pro and regional pro levels of Casual. Don't like the current system in place. It has failed to promote conference champion teams from elite for two seasons in a row.

All conference champion teams from elite promoted this season (I just checked) so idk what you're referencing. They all and always promote INTO the same conference. There's zero balance in the promotions. I think west should fill west and east should fill east first then fill rest to keep a few possible rivalries anyway.

A 6-10 cas pro team usually beats a 12-4 elite team by 40 in the tourns. The elite leagues are usually just not good enough to warrant the same turnover as the comparison between teams in pro vs reg pro leagues.

I don't mind the argument that a 2-14 or 3-13 team shouldn't stay up but the casual elite leagues are usually pretty weak (I suspect it'll be weak this season but it was pretty good last season)

Obviously OP is mad his team didn't move up (PM support btw, you never know when someone goes CPU); but if you're looking for the best league you can make cas pro, there just (in general) aren't too many teams you can move up/down before you start moving down teams that are actually better than the ones moving up.

I'd probably move down 3 instead of 2 and move up the 2 elite conf losers who had the best reg season record. I feel like you could reasonably argue 4 in each conference (move up the 4 elite conf title losers) but any more than that I think starts making for a weaker, not stronger, league.

I just scrolled down the rosters of competitive 3 and sending the winner to cas pro is a really really bad idea, that league is just way too weak. Tons of teams aren't even close to being of age to even be competitive and a bunch have the ages but don't even have close to a filled roster. Casual 4 shouldn't even exist as a league. Most teams are just teams the owner didn't sell and have no players on them.

idk why I care so much I won't even be an owner in that league a few seasons from now but I've been for 4 seasons now and felt like posting my observations.

No they didn't and you are misinformed. Detroit Destroyers won RPE #1 in season 33, no promotion. However, my team Saturday Morning Cartoons got the promote and we were put out in the play-offs in RPE #1. Also, Florida State Seminoles did NOT get the promote, they had to petition support to make it happen and they traded them in.

Again, incorrect. OP who I started DCing for near the end of season 34 isn't upset he didn't promote. We are all outraged at the consecutive seasons of bungling the promotions and are discussing a new system to solve the issue. Simple fact of the matter is it was the second consecutive season the Champs of RPE #1 did not promote naturally so it was time to say something about it.

Also incorrect. 4 teams in comp 3 will come of age on day 1 with full rosters. All came from one of the RPE leagues in S34 where they were underage, lost, and were moved into comp 3.

Nm already said lol

I think 6 teams per conference is probably too many based on the league turnout the past few seasons. 4 or 5 is probably a better choice.

This is the change I feel should be made. I think more than likely 5 may be too many. Looking at the two CPL conferences
right now, the bottom two from each should have been dropped down. (No offense to those owners or teams) If we work this
suggestion right..... we may have a REAL chance to get a change done for the coming season at least. I DID write to support
about this and feel pretty good at what I heard back. It IS being looked at..... but we need Bort to see we are serious and
suggesting the best we can come up with.

I agree , the promotion process for casaual need to be changed. I would be in favor of the top 3 teams from each casual 1 and 2 be promoted

The Casual Community is also talking about this in my Casual Forum. I think we may have the way it WILL work for
everyone involved and Bort would agree with.

We already have the top 4 moving up... Gold Trophy Game. Now lets let the Runners Up in the Silver Trophy
Game move up also. Hell, if they got that far in the Conference........ They deserve it IMO And Age and Dot Level
shouldn't have anything to do with it... if they got that far, They're Good. Besides... most of the teams will be 79's
when the new Season starts anyway. Again... this is ONLY from Elite 1 and 2. Comp has to move up like normal.
So.... they promoted the top 4 and sent 4 down. Now they can send the last of the bottom down and Runners
up in the Silver games get promoted up. Four from each Conference.

My work up on the situation.

Yes -- the process should be evaluated.

I don't know that you should necessarily go with the conference champs from 3 and 4.

By virtue of pulling an upset in one game, a mediocre team in Comp 4 could get launched into Casual Pro.

The jump to Casual Pro is pretty big even for those that compete well in Elite #1 -- I think that teams need to do that season to prove themselves against the best in Regional Pro.
