I have also learned it's easier to get into the WL than I originally thought, just been going about it the wrong way

Sure it is now. You only gotta win 2 playoff games in pro.

Not saying it's a GOOD idea, just that someone would try it, because getting rid of ALGs would make that slightly less of a bad idea. There's already people who use TEs at WR to try to get around the flex cost... not a lot, but they're out there.

some coordinators can't even manage to do that.

if you don't try to bring a whole team to WL it is much easier to get on a team already there

They probably want to use their skill points as they get them, to make their dots better right now, and not hurt their end game potential while doing so. They want to build balanced dots for all levels. But in order to achive that, GLB would have to get rid of training as well. I've never seen anyone say "training killed GLB".

those 2 pretty much sums it up.

For those who can't do math, and don't want to have to build for end level, but build for now as well.

Most people who don't like ALGs want to build dots like football players with a well-rounded skillset from season 1 until retirement. ALGs force an uneven build process that leads to skewed dots and odd issues as you work through your build. That said, its part of the game and its not going anywhere.

It isn't a math problem. It is a reading comprehension problem.

Automatic. Level. Gains.

Read it again.

This game makes it harder for newer players who aren't math/theorycraft inclined to get hooked on the game. It's a giant spreadsheet with 0 game skills. It's like someone took all the raid build stuff out of WoW and stripped out any need to push a button to cast fireball/swing a sword.
