Dont see the point in this, you can easily defend Big I sets with 2CBs in the game. But if added I wouldnt be against it. Would still use 2CB sets.

Until then we just have to put DE's at Sam and bring them up to the LOS I guess,lol. I would like a 46 D too but I doubt that happens. It does seem unfair the O gets the Big I and the D doesn't have the same Formation to match it.

New defensive formations are being considered, I am pretty confident they will eventually be implimented along with new Bort defenses.

It just funny most in Natty Pro and World League say there isn't an advantage yet they run that Formation in the dirt,lol. Look at D's Team: Graz Grizzlies... Nothing against him but his Team is 13-0 in World League and as of right now, He has run Big I HB Sweep Left 292 times, Big I HB Sweep Right 187 times, and Big I HB Offtackle 173 times.... Outside of the 2TE Singleback Pass they have run for 168, no other Play has even come close to being called that many times. I suggested something being done about that Formation 2 months ago and nothing has still been done? I took a break for that long hoping things would get fixed and see nothing has really changed. I wanted to come back and start Coaching again but looks like it will be the same headache as before I left.

Welcome to what everyone wanted. A sim that doesn't change for 4 or so seasons so people can adapt and everyone has enough time to exploit the biggest exploit to the best of their capabilities!

That being said, new formations are in early development. Not sure when they will get them out but they should fix some problems people generally have with Big I, Goalline, and Trips.

Doesn't have to be 5-2...4-4 is fine, just keep both safeties and 1 CB

They are on the list.

Also additional offensive formations require additional preset defenses. The current priority is to provide better defensive options. Not only new defensive formations. But also better defensive plays all around and better presets. Trying to make GLB less work and more fun for the less hardcore. Once that dust settles, offense will get its turn.

i kinda agree that it makes no sense not to have a 1 CB option

The answer to stopping those runs is a well placed zone. Takes a bit away from coverage, but that's what scouting is all about huh.

One caveat, I've not tried this with any team other than mine, so no idea how the zone dot will act at the pro level.
