My guy is getting old, but he's probably going to clear 100 KR TDs this year, but no way he gets to 152. He does have 869 PR TDs though, and might break 100,000 PR yards this season and 130,000 total return yards, even though he is sharing time with two other returners this season (seriously... you lend a guy a bunch of STOPs and then he makes you split carries in a swan song season?)

The thing is, KRs aren't that impressive unless you get a high % of returns. Most good teams don't get KRs because no one scores on them.

I had a season where I only got 25 KR attempts. That means that the entire season I only allowed 9 total TDs, FGs less any safeties that I scored.

The KR that you are planning on spamming KRs with to get the record gets 25 return attempts a game instead of in an entire season. It won't impress anyone to break Catch's record in that way.

That returner is scoring TDs on 10.8% of his kick returns and 31.2% of his punt returns. Ben is scoring TDs on 10.5% of his kick returns and 29.6% of his punt returns. If you're going to make that argument, at least make sure the numbers back you up.

(edit; late thought... if you post how many TD's your returner had, also post how many returns he had. Solves problem of %.)

This thread wasn't a question about the best kick returner. If I wanted that information, I would have asked. All I want to know is most KR TDs in a career. I don't care what league they were earned in, what type of team the returner was on, or what seasons they were earned in. All I want to know is most KR TDs in a career.

You would think a game based on stats, would have a list of all time records.

He played more seasons after the STs nerf than the older dots, played 90% of his games in elite, pro, or WL. % of returns only tells some of the story.

Catch got his in casual, which is generally an easier league to be scored on, which increased his chances, but the STs defenses are also generally weaker, so more TDs.

Not a brag thread. More of a "what should be my goal?" thread. Once I hit that goal, then I'll start bragging.

GLB was less finished when it left beta than Diablo 3 was when it was released.

If I understand you, you're wanting the info to give you an idea on what to "shoot for"? If so, then the quality of the info gives you the best answer. A dot that had 200 KR-TD's but had to return 1200 kickoffs (A TD every 0.17 returns ) to get that number isn't as good as a returner who had 100 returns for TD's and only returned 500 kickoffs (A TD every 5 returns) . Just saying.

That KR came in second to your scrub last season for the MVP, and I never boosted mine.

In all seriousness, I really wanted to make a KR that could power through the middle and get TDS. I had a booster version I just retired for flex, and I already regret it.

No. You're taking a question I asked and assuming that I am trying to get the answer to a different question. What I want to know is which returner has the most KR TDs. If I wanted to know best KR TD%, I would have asked that question. If I wanted to know best all time returner (I already know the answer to this, fyi), then I would have asked that question. I want to know most KR TDs. It is very, very simple, and people like you who have an incapacity to ready simple questions are making it very complicated.

Your returner didn't just come in second to my returner for MVP. He got left so far in the dust that by the time he caught up, the dust had already settled.

My old guy ended at like 200 total (KR + PR) or so. I want to say xeef or someone like that had some insane numbers from lesser competition.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=142282

lesser competition my butt pros a lot of the career, then retired WL.

Frankly, he wasnt all that special, he was a product of the game's first STOP unit, no one had an answer, and they ate people up. He also was not a returner with that unit for much of his career. I had another guy that had 200 + TD as well with them. When he got to the WL, the reserves playing special teams at the time could actually keep up and neutralized him.

He never eyepopping KR TD numbers though, he was a designed punt returner. 337 PR TD, only 26KR. I have never built any guy fast enough to be a good KR.
