I still did not understand the issue. I then realized what you meant so i edited it out.

The one team played a game before another thing is not easy to fix. If players were traded, you could try to code the system to check for if a game was played that day and at least pop-up a window warning you. However, trades don't happen. You drop a team, then add to a team.

Perhaps they could have the system check if your current team has a game scheduled for later and pop up a warning screen stating that your player has not played that game and could miss XP and suggest that you wait until the game is played to leave the team. That's all I can think of, tbh.

XP is awarded daily with additional XP when you play a game.

If you allow "catch up" XP after the season I see all kinds of possible exploits which could lead to a new wave of super slow building.

You're not allowing EXTRA XP... just LOST XP. Therefore there's no exploit. Every season has the same number of games in it... and every dot should receive the same amount of XP. Just because the system has a "glitch" in it that causes Dots to lose a game when traded/resigned mid season... doesn't mean it's impossible for GLB to figure out how much XP a dot SHOULD have if that hadn't happened. GLB fixed the issue with dots getting EXTRA XP from this "team-swap-glitch"... they shoudl be able to fix it for this as well.
Look... It's nothing about my dots here... if it was ONLY my dots effected by this I'd've simply contacted support with this. But my dots are NOT the only ones effected this way. AND, if it only happens ONCE in a dot's career... the damage is minimal. BUT... what if that same dot has this issue more than once? Now he's behind 2 games... or 3 games worth of XP simply because of a "glitch"??? That's not right. And that's why I posted this.

That said, the solution is easy. All leagues in the same age group should play on the same day. ....

+1000 to this...long overdue... especially when a dot gets screwed for life when changing teams

they don't get screwed for life

all dots make level 79 if you boost 30 times - unless you sit out seasons you won't miss out

So if your dots misses out on 1,125 XP you're fine with that? Wanna just give us those XP now? I'll put them to good use.

I would rather be aligned to get more when he hits the XP cap than worry about this

Yeah all you're really changing is when you hit the level 73 boost cap, lol. There's no reason to fret over some lost XP if you plan on boosting 30 times.

You obviously don't understand the team swap glitch.

In the beginning a dot could play on an odd day and be traded to a team playing on an even day and they'd get XP for both games. A fix was put in place to prevent XP gains in back-to-back games. That fix had to be fixed because a dot who played on even days was traded to an odd day team they'd actually lose out on XP because of the fix.
.

In the glitch a dot actually played in a game but due to a poorly coded patch didn't get XP. In your example, the dot simply didn't play in a game. Its as if that dot wasn't on a team at all.

Now, if dots still get game XP even if they aren't on teams then I agree, this should be fixed. If dots don't get XP if they aren't on teams then I just can't see fixing something caused by human error (that actually makes sense if you stop and think about it).

I don't deny this at all.

I agree. If you're not on a team, then no XP. But, in this case, it was simply lost XP from having to move from one team to another. And, it took me a while to even post this here cuz it took some time for the light to go on. I did a lot of "head scratching" as to what had happened... did some note checking (yeah... old school me) and realized I'd lost the XP due to the "move" from the inactive/CPU team to the owned team. Once I figured that out, then the red light started blinking as I wondered what would happen if this happened several times in a dots career... hence the -1,125 XP lost (which would be bad, really). Since I didn't see the lost XP returned at the end of last season/start of this season... I then posted my thoughts here. And I still haven't seen anyone say a dot COULDN'T lose 1,125 or more XP just due to this "glitch"... which still leaves me worried about it.

If you don't play in a game, you don't get XP. Its not a "glitch". Anyway, this isn't likely to get implemented at any point so its hardly worth discussing.

very poor answer from a mod. This is a problem if you think so or not. This game is set up so each player receives the same amount of anything that any other dot can for age and for boosting.

clearly this does not happen to all dots..

I've been noticing this, not just with my dots, but with others as well and it doesn't seem right. If your dot moves from one team to another during the season, he stands a good chance of losing XP because of the move. Why? Measures have been made already in GLB to make sure dots get all the same XP if they play or not... so why does this injustice still exist?
I'll use my own dots to explain. All 4 of these dots were created at the same time (on the same day) and the ONLY difference between them is that 2 of them wound up on a team that got CPU'd mid-season and I found a Owned team that needed them and wanted them. But moving them cost them 375 XP's. That isn't right.

My 2 Dots that lost XP;

Lv. 52
Age 160d
250/1000 XP
875/1000 VXP

Lv. 52
Age 160d
250/1000 XP
875/1000 VXP

My 2 dots that didn't;

Lv. 52
Age 160d
625/1000 XP
875/1000 VXP

Lv. 52
Age 160d
625/1000 XP
875/1000 VXP

Notice that ALL 4 dots have the exact same amount of VXP... so if that is possible, then why isn't it possible they have the same XP? They should... and hence this suggestion. GLB, please fix this. Thanks.

That said, the solution is easy. All leagues in the same age group should play on the same day. For example:

Odd Days
National Pro
Regional Pro
National Minor
Regional Minor

Even Days
World League
Rookie
Prep
University
Semi-Pro

If I counted correctly and based on this season's structure you would have 30 leagues playing on odd days and 30 on even days. WL and National Pro would be playing on opposite days and you wouldn't have odd issues like this.
