Looks like it's a smartphone app called Big Win Football. Doesn't look like a browser game, just a smartphone app game.

That's all I'll post. Don't want to give too much promotion to a competing game, amirite?

No thought-police from me, my friend... I just prefer to work on building this community rather than telling everyone to go to another community. If you want to Google the other game and post a link here or something, be my guest. Took me 10 seconds to find it myself.

and one thing alot of people on the game do not look at is this. If Bort went to put the prettier graphics into the game. the cost of the game would go up to play as well. GLB is a business so anytime a upgrade is made that takes money out of borts pocket. then that cost in turn trickles down to the users to replenish borts pocket. so to all the people that keep wanting better graphics. if you get them then you might as well expect to pay quite a bit more to play and don't expect anymore free crap from the game.

with that said I liked the graphics that was used as a example. but I personally do not want to have that much added cost put on the users here.

There are two ways to combat increased costs. Higher prices for users, or more users.

In my opinion, giving this already great game a much needed makeover would not only increase the attractiveness to new users, but increase the enjoyment of already existing ones. Therefore, Bort could potentially gain new users as well as be able to slightly increase the price and be in a win-win situation.

I'm not saying make it like a console game graphics, but a little pop would do wonders for gaining additional exposure in the online market.

I like the dots, would be fun though if they'd do more things like when they shrink for falling down, etc. Maybe see the QB vibrate when a DT is affecting his morale pre-snap, a WR jiggle after a touchdown...cheesy stuff like that would go a long way IMO

That's probably more doable, and yeah, it would go a long way.

+1 to dusk!

Several things to consider here. Would a more catchy graphics be cooler to watch? Sure. Will it bring in more people? Maybe. Will it cost GLB a lot of money to purchase more, and upgrade, their servers to handle the extra load? Yeah... a lot of money. Will that cost be passed on to it's customers? Most likely. Will the effect outlast the factor of same'ol-same'ol after the newness wears off? I doubt it.

Completely agree. Plus I would think from a coordinator standpoint, the dot approach with a straight down view would be preferred over the example giving. Heck, I don't even like watching the Flash replays.

well...the flash replays suck because it is just a messy version of the easy way we view dots in the regular mode. Now if you were to do something like what is being proposed that might be more interesting to watch even from a coordinator point of view.

As you would actually see everything about what is happening on the field and thus make more sense of everything. That being said dots is GLB's thing and I don't see that changing at all in this game so I don't really see the need for anything more graphic wise from them.
