Add to the player creation process the "bulk" purchase of 8 dots at a time at a discounted Flex cost. The exact mix of dots is random, and the dots base builds (before adding points and training) is randomized like the old rolling system with a weighting such that two of the 8 will have better random rolls and one will have a good random roll, while the other 5 are pretty normal. The end dots can be traded between players (to deal with the frustration of your rare being a position you do not want) or can be then created the rest of the way normally (once creation is completed they are no longer tradable). Also the base cost of the bulk purchase is not refundable, to avoid reroller type scripts and trading becoming a way of gifting flex between accounts.
