QB's are real easy to make very good. Like mentioned above, QB, K and P only have 3 major attributes so it's easy to pump their skills up. In turn, since these positions are so easy to make well, they also aren't in demand.

I find P and K positions even more so than QBs because a QB's minor attributes are more important to success than a Ps minor attributes.

Also the P and K have, at most 4 SAs to spend on, and AEQ can largely deal with having to spend points there, while a QB will have AEQ in % AEQ rather than +SA AEQ.

Build a pass deflecting DT. They get lots of offers at higher levels, at lower levels most DCs don't know how to limit them to passing downs so they kind of flounder.
