Rather than get rid of it, I'd rather see it improved. I suspect that, right now, it's all about stats (or way too much so). It should include, as well, the quality of the build. We hear all the time about the "Next Big Thing" coming from High School to college or from college to Pros... and those people haven't done anything yet at their new levels. Still, they carry "fame" with them. They can lose fame or gain fame as they progress along. That doesn't happen here... and it should. Fame, currently, simply is a little regarded mathematical formula that has little bearing on the overall quality of a Dot. It should be, and mean, more. Or... as the OP suggests, be removed.

wait to why would you get rid of something that doesn't do anything?

i mean if you don't know what it does or what it means then just don't look at it

fame should be directly tied to a script that continuously scans the forums for how often a dot's name is mentioned or build is linked
