Needs more VIS. Bort/Catch have stated that in order to best sim real life, players have to pass a very high VIS roll to properly spot and time an attempt to block a kick, then the other attributes kick in to see if he can.

I think jumping is the only attribute that plays into the roll.. (swat ball or another SA might). Its been a while since i've seen a bort quote on it but i'm nearly certain that vision does not play a part of the roll.

Question : What goes into the FG/XP block skills?
Answer : The block kick roll is INCREDIBLY hard to pass, even if you're in the right position. However, it is essentially the same roll as pass deflection, without any VA's and SA's other than swat ball.

He needs more balls. They should have been hanging free and the balls would have blocked the kick after he jumped up in the air and the football shot through his legs.

Dude, the positions of the dots or their builds basically have no effect on blocked kicks. It might as well be random.

Besides, FG replays are just a waste of server space and an extra click between actual plays.

Wat?
Are you saying that a defender standing behind the line of scrimmage has the same chance of blocking a FG as a player standing in front of the ball?

Yes. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2219366&pbp_id=5093924

That FS's build was open when that happened, and he had nothing special that would lead to being a kick blocking machine. In fact, he had low vision and jumping.

Notice how it is the NT that blocks the kick but look how far past the holder he is.
