So... I dusted off my old notebook and pencil... and now I have my own "script" that doesn't cause my computer to go psycho every now and then.

But you heard about pencil and papers, before there were "scripts" actually your argument makes no sense, since all I said was it was hard to believe that someone playing the game since 2008 has never heard of a greasemonkey script, I'm not computer savvy, heck I never used a computer before 2000, yet I heard of them, I knew what they were, I might have never used one, but I was still aware of it. Just saying, even if you log in once a day for 5 years, and have knowledge of the forums, viewed the forums, you probably saw someone mention something about a gm script, especially if you are a GM of a team.

NaN stand for "not a number"
Talk to your computer about numbers and get him to understand what that means.
He seems to be a little confused.
Maybe take him to Wikipedia and leave some math pages up for a while.
That should do it.

*shrug*

I'm really not sure why you're so hot on that one topic. Let's just get his problem solved. Anything beyond that is internet wankery.

Also, never underestimate the things people pay no attention to, either in this game or in life.

When I worked at the Front Desk at a hotel, I was amazed at the number of different people who would ask me the same question -- while the answer to their question was on a printed sign in a huge-ass font literally 4 inches to the left of their face. I'd point to the sign while I was answering them, just so they'd have that "Oh!" moment and hopefully learn a lesson about paying more attention.

RAAAAAAAAGGGGE!!!!......

This might be a way to help the noobs save their SPs until the right moment...like a sort of "training wheels" script. It would save their SPs until they can cap an attribute and it highlights said attribute accordingly.

Either way...

Back to solving soxguy's problem... though it would certainly help if he returned to this thread...

In case the OP missed my follow-up question on Page 1...

I'm willing to bet you installed GreaseMonkey and a couple of scripts a couple of years ago, but never got too deeply into it and forgot about it in the meantime, and you just have a script installed that's broken down at some point due to being old.

The OP sent me a PM yesterday and we're trying to work through it. Best I can tell, he does not have GM installed. Since this is an issue being experienced by a single user, it will probably fall to support.

I'm guessing support can't really help. If it's outside of normal canned responses then a support staff usually isn't that helpful.

Maybe an outdated browser? I don't know.

Or some kind of weird firewall/proxy blocking a certain javascript file or something.

Suggested both.

He's tried multiple browsers so I'm thinking Deathblade is on the right track.
