Probably the best approach, yes.

Owning a Pee Wee team along with a Normal team may complicate things, though... people may think you're trying to recruit them to your Pee Wee team. That could scare people off who want nothing to do with Pee Wee, and it could piss people off who WANT to play in Pee Wee, until they discover later that you were actually recruiting them for your regular team.

So... uh... be careful, and good luck?

TBH, i could never understand PEE wee...

if you want to do a one and done, why not just get rookie team and dots,
one and done em, reset everything each season...
it seems a lot of trouble to have an entire league devoted to this...
idk i just don't get it it just seems like it causes more problems
for new players with the confusion.

I know that.

What I'm saying is that if the people you're recruiting aren't paying attention (or if you're not clear enough about it), they might think you're trying to recruit them for your Pee Wee team instead of your Rookie team. That could either scare off people who don't want to play Pee Wee, or piss off people who DO want to play Pee Wee.

So, be very clear and very careful on that front. Don't assume people know or will figure it out. Heck, even if you type "I'M RECRUITING YOU FOR MY ROOKIE TEAM, NOT MY PEE WEE TEAM" and copy-and-paste that 5 times at the top of your recruiting PM, you'll still get a least a couple of idiots who think you're recruiting them for your Pee Wee team, because some people's mission in life seems to be to read as little as possible before they die.

Yeah, but if you got rid of Pee Wee, then all the people who just want to play "one-and-done" would be thrown into the same leagues as people who are building long-term. Rookie leagues already have enough "one-and-done" teams as it is, and those teams tend to dominate, which can be frustrating for the longer-term teams.

That's the reason they created Pee Wee -- so that all of the one-and-done people could play just against each other. It also has the added benefit of giving those one-and-done teams more-competitive leagues to play in, since their league isn't "pulled down" by normal teams.

So, keep Pee Wee in place. Works better this way.

If you like one and done leagues Pee Wee is much better. It is cheaper if you want to stay competitive via not having to boost season 0 day 48. If GLB restructured how dots were built and not have to boost on day 48 this game would attract a "few" more people b/c knowing to boost on day 48 as a new player agent is nearly impossible right away when joining GLB, resulting in time lost. People who play games online do not like to wait for 40-48 more days to do something. This needs to be known right away as a new player agent.

Holy shit sorry for going on a tangent...I was saying that Pee Wee is cheaper and yeah that is why?

Because I live 20 miles from the minor league team and well over 100 miles from the major league team. And the cost of the game as well.

Yeah well (not me) most red necks live out in the boonies and their only choice to watch a team live (b/c they don't own a TV or there is no cable service and they can't afford satellite) is a single A ball club, so there's that to think about...

I went with pre wee for the whole boosting aspect. I didn't want to boost the 20 dots I made for the team so I didn't lose all that flex. Had I took a level 1 into a rookie team where they could end up at level 7 to start the season. It wouldn't be fun to watch my dots get slaughtered.

Because the peewee team is a bit cheaper and you won't be ridiculed for fucking up regular leagues. Constantly resetting to rookie to hoard rookie gold is lame.
