No, there's value in having a temporary home while you search for a permanent one.

That said, the temporary home should be uncomfortable, so that people have a reason to leave when they can.

thats just it. Its not. I see dots season after season play D-league. There dots and flex. I just WISH it was like it was back in season 1.

your opinion means nothing when you dont know the difference between 'there' and 'their'.

Sounds kinda like being on welfare.

I'm calling for comprehensive D-League reform!!!

did, but it seems to be near or equally as bad.

Then before choosing a team, look at it and find one that isn't bad. Lots of them out there.

Then be more careful about which human team you sign with.

If you just accept an offer from the first team that sends you one, or from a guy who tells you "Sign with us and I'll make you a starter with 87 plays a game!!!!!!", yer doin' it wrong. Talk to the owner, find out what sort of a system they're gonna do and how they want to use your dot, and then start asking questions. Make sure he's got his shit together and isn't just telling you whatever you want to hear.

It takes 2 people for a dot to end up on a bad team: an owner to suck at owning, and a dot's agent to fall for his shtick. You are in full control of whether or not you're the second guy.

Following up... holy cow, Kinser, did you do zero research before accepting your offers? Your QB is playing on a team with mostly CPU dots, and your WR's team isn't much better.

How much time did you spend picking a team to play for? 5 minutes?

it was to only offer I got. and I didn't want to be stuck on a sucky d-league team, and I jumped the gun big time. although, they said I am more than welcome to leave if I want, but before that, I am putting in a request for being OC, and being able to pick up players. if I am turned down with that offer, then I'll request a release.

This season may be a lost cause at this point... if you take over as OC, it's gonna be hard to find available human dots now that the season is underway. If you leave, it'll be even harder finding a human-owned team that needs a QB. (Your WR might have better luck... WRs are always in short-supply.)

On Day 21, though, I'd DEFINITELY start up threads in the Players Looking For Teams forum and start looking for a new home for Season 34. And as soon as you're allowed to (Day 40, I think?), posts ads for both of your dots in the Marketplace. Take your time, do your research, and hopefully you'll find a better home for next season.

Just take this season as a lesson learned, I guess. Probably the best you can get out of it for now. But Season 34 will get better for you.

There is an abundance of WRs. That's the #1 position created with free dots.

Well, crap. That's new, then.

People mostly want to create QBs and HBs. Those spots go pretty fast so the next on their list is WR.

Personally, I get more enjoyment from defensive players than I do WRs.

I think I did a decent job recruiting so far at 2-0...

but considering our overall to start was about 12, and it's doubled since I've taken control of the offense and recruiting, I think I've done a decent job.
