They should. I just tried submitting a rename request for a retired player and it showed up in the request list immediately. I'd try submitting your request again (and PM me once you've submitted it). If it's not working for you, I can let the devs know. If worse comes to worse, we can do it manually.

The only situations where we actively ignore a Support message without replying to it are the ones I mentioned - obvious heckling, or duplicate tickets about something they've already written in about (where we still reply to the original message).
It might be possible for a legitimate message to get closed without reply by accident (we are human, after all, mistakes can happen). But if you've written in about an issue that hasn't been resolved or if you didn't receive a reply for some reason, let us know and we'll be happy to try and address it.

I sent rename request recently, at least 3 days required for someone accepted that.

actually, part of this re-naming retired dots would go away if they showed positions on the retired player page

some times I want to look up my previous LT builds and the only way to find one quickly is to re-name retired players with LT in the name to know what the player played

They should let us pic what players should be listed, I retired alot of dots that i could give a shit about less

I prefer to focus on the dots I have that are in the game and still playing.

I left my SS#, my credit card pin# and my papajohns.com password on the player notes of one of my retired players and now I can't find it!

I accidentally hit -OK to use name again- for some dots I retired, would be nice to get their names back so they appear on the retired players page.

Name changes for retired players I have handled per PM. Did it twice IIRC, forgot to change the setting to save the name.
