an excellent idea to fix this.. im sure the community could find a volunteer to make the jerseys. Hell i would use em for my active guys if there were a variety of color options +1

it's an alternative, but someone would have to come up with all those jerseys. seems a bit more work than just allowing us to choose a number from a drop-down list. the most annoying thing is that the jersey numbers appear on the 'retired' page. if it didn't appear at all, i probably wouldn't care. but since it's there, why not just let us choose whatever number for that player?

While I doubt it would be something you could install into GLB, it would be really easy to have a link to where this is already done and let folks do their own selecting. I know this exists out there in cyberspace because I SEE those numbered jerseys already as avatars for DOTS. All GLB would need to do is supply a link... just as they already do for scripts.

true, it is a online image gif creator. some of the fancier ones you see were probably done with photoshop. i actually created my own photoshop jersey, but it does annoy me that i can't just choose a retirement jersey number AND upload a pic of my favorite swimsuit model.
