Have you considered running just 1 team really well instead of running 14 teams really badly?

8P

Besides, this is about teams that were in Reg Pro, intended to stay in reg pro, not at all ready for Nat Pro, only won one playoff game and get promoted to NatPro.

Despite League Contraction, the system is putting a good number of teams that will be hard pressed to compete in Nat Pro into Nat Pro, merely to serve as cannon fodder unless they succeed in a quick serious make over.

And it dawned on me that this might be "working as intended". The teams on Barrel Duty get one season of Barrel and one season standing next to the Reg Pro barrel, then rinse and repeat.

Sounds like Bort was in the Navy.

if you weren't ready for National Pro after 1 season in Regional Pro how would more seasons in Regional Pro make you more prepared?

Till there were more 1300 dots than 1100 dots???

I really dont mind. But when its a surprise that crops up on Day 42 - after you have been recruiting for Reg Pro - its a little annoying. I'm telling guys we are playoff bound and now...that might be a stretch.

But its not a big deal. Its just the revelation that it might be an intended system, keeping half of the customers happy half of the time, that made me post.

I'm confused. A season ago you were railing against the contraction. Now you are pointing out that it might not have been enough and we probably need a further contraction (i.e. Hemispheres). Did you convert or are you simply wishy washy with your opinions?

If you are paying close attention this is actually damning of the contraction as being an utter waste of time.

Half of National Pro couldnt compete before either.

So the point was......?????

Oh and at this point I dont think Hemispheres will work either.

Bort needs to market the game.
