By making them look like chumps?

But yes, there wasn't a mass exodus. It just crushed the entire game's morale. Yes, it may have impacted the top players more, but the morale of the top players trickles down the the bottom of the barrel like Dub J and Toriq.

So, funny and so wrong. General, DB post dynamics.

Morale was really low. Mostly because the reaction from the top of the game was fix your builds for a good portion of the season. A lot of guys didn't even want to do the PWT right away it was so bogus of a season. But we did the best we could to make it as entertaining as possible and made more of a joke out of the whole thing than being mad about it. Also made MEM losing to hazy in the end of the USA playoffs entertaining as well.

Yeah, to this day I believe that's why people get so pissed when someone posts "fix your builds".

I really didn't read your post. Just gave it a cursory glance and saw my name. Just assumed you was saying nice things.

Of course we all went run heavy, but there were few who took it to the extremes (e.g. the games where Csonka had 60-80 rushes).

Don't take me wrong, BSB had 3 RBs that season and were probably over a combined 40 rushes/game. We also threw the ball 25+ times a game, though. Most teams did. The passing game wasnt neutered so we still used it. We still had Riverboat Gambler -> Flash Lightning/Stretch Armstrong.

When it came down to it most people slammed as much as possible. Jedi Knight, Livid Lemur, Csonka, Declan Stick, etc...just slammed over and over again. The best teams were the slam jobs.

The bottom of the barrel talking out his arse about the not bottom of the barrel is fairly comical.

Yeah, I've seen your builds. Your antipathy. And your trolling. I'm pretty sure I'm on target with my comment.

Enjoy the ride.

Wasn't there a league that made a pact to not run the slam during the playoffs and then someone reneged during the LC game and won? If my memory serves me right that was the most awesome thing about S8.

I mean not everyone could slam it as easily as Csonka which is why MEM did that so easily. But the case was still pretty similar across the board.

One did, but a team merked them in the LC game. I remember this. I wasn't a part of that league, just remember all the rage over the LC game in that league.
