Most rookies would be holding SPs so any decent PW should be able to beat them unless they just have terrible coordinators/builds. Doubt the PWs would fare as well against the cheesers that build PW dots and reset every season. They are essentially PWs with 6 boosts rather than the 3 PWs have available.

As far as your link, what does a booster beating a non-booster by 41 prove? The guy that lost by 41 has forgotten more than most will ever learn about PW. He's a PW/Gold regular. That wasn't really a very good example of the point you're trying to prove.

Those two teams would have torn the Gamecock's asses up. There are more rookie teams that could have beaten the Gamecocks but I promise you those two would have ran the Gamecocks out of the stadium.

EDIT: While we're off in lala land. I never got this whole cross-league scrim deal. Gerr has done a lot of damage to peewee by constantly challenging regular league teams to scrims. Just like Avenger in casual did with his scrims with regular teams. Build your own league type up to legitimize it. If you think you will bolster your niche league by trying to knock down regular you will fail. It just comes across as a desperate attempt for validation.

If you don't know then you're not really qualified to comment on it.

Now I am "qualified" uke:

No, actually what I posted makes perfect sense. If you didn't understand it the first time you read it please re-read. I merely stated that in order to build up your league type (regarding PW and Casual) the best thing to do is work on making it better. Trying to size it up against the regular leagues (starting threads about your league type in regular league forums and constantly challenging regular teams) adds no credibility to your league type. It only makes the majority of the userbase think less of your league type. You have to remember that the vast majority of the userbase is associated to the regular leagues.

Reason I even mentioned it was due to the fact you was comparing PW to Rookie.

True, it wasn't the levels that hurt us. I called a bad game and it was actually the +10 to FGs majors from the level 16 upgrades and AEQ which made the biggest difference.

When I care what the "majority of the userbase thinks".... no just never, i won't.

My PW team will scrim rookie teams, and PW teams. imo, after getting more exposure to the rookie side of things,
I think its a great way to test out PW teams and builds etc.

I have yet to see a rookie team even come close to FG.

My no/no regular team went 16-0 in rookie in season 31. We lost the CC on a last second FG to probably the best team in that age bracket. I just can't see any rookie team hanging with FG. Rookies are fast , clumsy, can't tackle, can't cover, ect. Any well coached yes/yes peewee team should beat any rookie team that is building proper for the future.

And yes the levels did play a big factor, but were not the only factor. I didn't know I was going to lose, I plan on winning every game regardless of the opponent or levels.

As I stated earlier, it depends on who you played. If you had faced a boosting perpetual re-setter it would have been a different story. There are a handful of teams that hang out in rookie every season that PW build just to win rookie trophies. It's impossible for a long term team to beat them and I doubt PW teams would fare well against them either since the teams I mention are PW built with 3 (or in your case...6) more boosts.

They are essentially PW teams playing in regular leagues.

That proves my point. When you have to hang your hat on beating teams from another league type that is at a distinct disadvantage due to the nature of the leagues (PW one and done vs. regular long term) it makes PW look bad. PW is in a very bad state right now and trying to shit on regular leagues with a stacked deck really isn't going to change that.

That's precisely what Jampysos and the Havasu Walking Dead team did and he just can't seem to understand that it was a cheap meaningless tainted title for them since they were a 1 and done team and rounded out builds and put skill points into SA's just to win a gold title in the rookie league. There is no respect for any team that does that. If they want to build like that than stay in peewee where you play other teams that also build that way.
