Nobody uses 4 and 5 wr sets as of now, it would maybe open up the playbook

i use 4 WR all the time. The reason people dont use 5 WR is because the blocking for it sucks not because of playmaking ability.

5WR is a 6 on 5 blitz. its not the blocking that sucks ... it's the timing on the pass routes. this barely registers on the list of things that should be addressed, basically

The timing and the blocking for it sucks. It barely registers because they have spent a million seasons trying to adjust it. They should just can it all together for the pistol formation.

i'd be in favor of turfing that formation. especially if bunch/spread is then viable elsewhere

at least with the pistol I could hold a HB or a TE.

Now now i have already asked about new plays and got shot down.

Well it would replace one formation that is terrible with a formation that is similar to 2 other formations but could bring some other interesting plays.

haha, was thinking of our opponents. Trying to give the opposition another chance at beating mojo. If they don't change anything you have think mojo is the favorite to repeat for sure.

Same here. Maybe scrap some plays and add new ones just to keep everything fresh.

They don't need to increase the overall number of plays

the existing AI interface makes adding any more formations too tedious as a DC. they lost a ton the last iteration. it just becomes more and more watered down crap tbh

im ok with more plays in a formation. or remove the garbage and add new like snakes suggests.

I think many top DCs are getting to bored because there is nothing left to defend. I for one don't even think about a game plan until the playoffs and then the only thing i have to think about is what existing plays might be run not what new plays do i need to worry about.

i would say put slot machine in any spot but lower the power of slot machine. Inside receiver should be allow to be on either side to get a "Slot" bonus.

I say -1 to Slot Machine period until they give the Nickel Back Position on Defense some love.
