The game is becoming too time consuming for some, hence why it's becoming more of a chore than a game you enjoy.

Make crude jokes about other team owners mothers?

Explain in detail the sexual positions your defenders will use on the opposing offense?

Flash Bling? (Hey, thats a good name for a WR!)

Two ways to increase the cares:

1. Spend time writing up reviews of the matchups, include predictions. I know most coordinators/owners will become more engaged when people are talking about the performances of their team. And then do some follow ups after the games. Just going into league forums and saying "GG _________" isn't going to do it. Be creative.

2. Find a villain, or become the villain. Every league needs at least one, otherwise it becomes a bunch of nice guys with little pleasantries. In a perfect world we all enjoy a peaceful coexistence, but it's a little more difficult to keep people coming into the forums if nobody is saying anything negative. You don't need to be a jerk, although it helps, but call out another team and tell them how your team is going to destroy them.

Start a thread "Matt Schaub says Tom Brady's wife tastes like Cheerios"

and go from there

I tried to do that, but everyone else in RPH #10 are pussies.

I Wish I had a link back to season 11 I believe? it was when LHF was a Pro vet and I was just getting started and me and Rose Bowl Champs had an entire league of haters and we were in a league with established wannabe villians and we went in there and just slayed them 1 after another until the forum warrioring was 1500 + posts in 1 thread and 0 bans were ever given out, the next year I got in the league with this chump rellascout and when it started he wanted the villian role, but as we got going and he realized he was in over his head he cried and cried for the admins, he eventually was in the rage quitters about non boosters but it goes to show what needs to happen to get glb active.

Edit: none of this works if you aren't game planning your ass off to rise to the top

The number one thing that makes me ponder GLBs longevity is the lack of care exhibited in the game forums.

My three pro teams all made the playoffs. One so far has made the second round.

No one in the team forums, I post away but mostly get nothing in reply.

The National Pro league forum is equally silent. Its an hour or two to playoff round 1 and you can't buy a post to read.

No one cares.

What can we do to get the care back?????

I promise you if you would have went into your teams forums, particularly your Pro team's forum, and starting telling all those scrubs how you were going to end their WL dreams...that thread would have been cash money.

Nice behavior by a newly appointed mod.

I can only agree with this. Unusual behaviour by a Mod to say the least, especially considering how much money yello brings into the game too......

You guys didn't read that the way I intended it. I was telling yello1, if he wanted to get an active league forum, he needed to go to that league forum and tell the rest of the league he was coming after them. Make sense now?

Def didn't mean that he should go into his own team's forum and yell at his own dots or whatever you thought I was saying.
