I had this problem the other day. I just went in and cleared the cache and history and restarted my browser. Works just fine now.

seems not to have the issue when trying from a desktop (at least when I tried). Must be something with the laptop or wifi get overloading and not being to load the images (or a combination)

i search internet to read about others having problem like that. some people did. but never found any suggestions or solutions that would seem to work.

Where do you find the web site that allows me to make a jersey with a name and number on it for my dots avatar?

Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and check if there is a difference between your laptop and desktop.

Just for comparison my speed was 0.97 mps download, 0.98 mps upload, with a ping of 28ms. That is considered slow by todays standards.

Ping is primarily just going to be your proximity to the server. (Side note, yeah you're living in the dark ages lol: 17.99 down, 11.57 up)

Does it happen in Firefox or Chrome? If not, have you tried reinstalling Internet Explorer? That'd be something I'd try.

EDIT: nvm saw you said earlier that you tried different browsers and it happens in all of them.

i have tried IE, firefox, and chrome. And reloaded two of them.

must be something with the laptop not being able to handle the images most of the time. sometimes it will load the images (but that is not the norm)

You said it's not that old, though. What processor is the thing running with? An old celeron? Even that should be fine for loading the page, lol.

Intel Core i3 CPU, M 380 @ 2.53GHz, 4GB, 64 bit OS

... tried on older laptop than this (and don't get the issue).

Reformat.

The laptop can handle loading the page just fine. There's something wrong with the laptop. Whether it's corrupt files or spyware/virus, idk.

Before reformating, try these two things.

1. Malware - Download it and run a full scan, possible have some background Malware chewing up your Memory. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
2. Increase Page File - This probably won't completely fix the problem, but might make it a bit better. If it does make it marginally better, than you don't have enough RAM. Page File is basically virtual memory (dedicated hard drive space) to help boost your memory along with our physical RAM. http://wiki.pcworld.com/index.php/Increasing_Page_File_Size_-_Windows_XP_and_Windows_Vista
