Actually there's a difference, the people that are getting banned are the ones that get hooked by the trolling and go over the line. The ones you consider "getting special treatment" are guys that have mastered the art of toeing the line, it's like any other rule in life, most of them have that grey area, if you stay in it the majority of the time you'll be fine in my eyes, its' the ones that cant control themselves.

And you're umbrella thoughts on "mods" wont work w/ me. We're all different people. We try our hardest to be fair and concise. Regardless of what you may think it's not as simple as users make it out to be. I feel I'm one of if not the most fair mod in the crew, I've talked to admins about my style.

I want trashtalking to be allowed, it fosters forum activity, it's just unfortunate when users take the bait, go over the line and then complain that the mods are biased.

Dpride and I have been banned plenty. In fact, I get banned for complete bullshit because certain mods are as obsessed with me as Toriq is.

The WL forums are for people who are in WL, so the standards here are just gonna be different. The posters in this forum will put up with more nonsense and trolling than the average poster in the rest of GLB, especially because they want to be able to dish out some nonsense and trolling themselves. And because of that, the moderators are a bit more hands-off with the WL forum than with the rest of the forum.

The only way to change that is to change the people in the WL forum. And you're a bit out-numbered, dude.

I highly suggest you learn to roll with it. Why else do you think I call myself the third-worst poster in the World League forums?

Actually, I need another ruling from the poster-ranking committee, come to think of it. Black Peter's posting in here has been pretty terrible lately.

The only thing that changed was his name.

Yeah, he changed his name to avoid my ignore filter. He's back on it now. I would make a game of guessing the other five blocked but you guys would probably never get more than two.

I know I was on there for awhile, but you're just too obsessed with me for that to stick.

The area I moderate has a reputation for trolls... I've found that there's a very thin line between being banned and not being banned. And if you aren't careful that line moves to a point where forum behavior is stifled. There should be some healthy trash talking but there are definitely limits to the things you should be able to say and you don't want users to decide that the amount of trolling that they have to endure isn't worth it and simply disconnect from the forum itself.

Thin line... very thin line...
