For every agent who builds HH FF STOPs:

Wouldnt this feature conceivably give them even more opportunities to generate FFs?

Well whether or not it would be a good idea is another thing altogether. However it could, if a player thought like you do, then be used to STOP taking the KR out of the End zone to get that clock stoppage.

I was mainly thinking of the "down by more TDs than I can possibly score" scenario where your only shot is a lightning bolt KR or three.

But your scenario and the above referenced useage of the OP idea may indeed be more valid.

But that still means you should +1 it.

As for the "but the coverage team cant do ..." those are not really related offsetting options. However I totally agree that the coverage team should have those options. Rather than dissing my idea why dont you post your own idea suggesting that those coverage options be added to the game?

Not dissing it, just not something I'd support without the option for the coverage team. Trust me I'm not auto -1 because it's a yello1 suggestion. Just don't happen to like it as suggested.

I guess, but I think the current slider is sufficient.

Sufficient, perhaps.

All the Game Could Offer? No.

The more tactical choices the better IMO. And this would be a cheap and easy one to add to the game - one that would not effect game balance or otherwise require alot of hand wringing before putting into place.

-1 to OP this isn't something needed and if implemented would only make gameplanning even more of a chore.

Also no need to argue with my statement Yello1 because I do not think you have the ability to change my mind here so don't waste the time even trying.

Nothing to argue really. It WOULD be an additional thing to consider and therefore a chore however slight.

And needed is a matter of opinion.

That is not logical.

This is a simple choice and a simple feature that would be relatively easily implemented.

This game got overly complicated one "simple feature" at a time.

More complexity is fine *IF* *IF* *IF* it adds to the fun as well.

This would add more complexity, but it really wouldn't add any more fun. So, -1.

Keep fightin' the good fight yello. Some of these guys are happy with Angry Birds done in a football theme, many of us want a state of the art football simulation.

Says someone that from what I can tell hasn't had much success with what you called Angry Birds in a football theme. Maybe you and Yello1 should try actually having some measure of success at the game before wanting it changed. No offense intended but that is how it looks to me.

I'm just never going to be real satisfied with a fair simulation of the old school vibrating field football game. Novel idea, but not what was advertised.

I wasn't much good at that stupid game either Hatch....

I dunno. If you are "out of it" and you know your KR is going to get desperate and try to run one back no matter what, it gives you a play to get interested in, at least for a moment or so.
