There are too many problems with this concept.

It would come down to who was the most popular and "voter fraud" aka multi-accounting. We would have to put so many checks and balances in place to make sure it wasn't abused. Account must be X-Days Old, account must be active on the forums, account cannot vote more than once, IP addresses could only be used once, etc. It just wouldn't be worth the time programming a complex algorithm to prevent such abuse.

I know some of you feel it might be a popularity contest already but this is something I'm trying to change with the application setup.

Activity + Friendly/Helpful Posting + RL and or Online Experience + Team Player - Inappropriate Behavior = WIN
