GLB's Premier League is a red herring because the initial thought would be World League. In truth, it related to USAPL, as (despite some debate) USAPL was GLB's premier league in the very early seasons. The original (season 1) champs was of course the Chicago Mustangs: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=8722
ah shit i was overlooking season 1 teams that had only 4 non-regular-season games (didn't bother to read "PLAYOFF GAMES" above them). assumed they were just scrimmages

so you do a scavenger hunt on something that can't even be found by searching the site. I have been here since season 1 and I never heard USAPL referred to the premier league.
While agree it was biased to pre-World League users, that's still 99% of us. And there's far more than 20 people who would have gotten that, lol. Plus there were more clues had jdbolick not gotten it so quickly.
If you were recruiting back in the early seasons and constantly lost out because agents wanted to have dots in USAPL....you'd know it was considered the premier league.
