Your argument is new and inexperienced agents might not use it correctly and it could cost them - well same could be said of every feature in GLB.
If you want to harp on the lack of a comprehensive tool to educate new (or current) users on GLB then that is another issue. Auto-tagging can be just another tool that coordinators can choose to use, or not use as they like. And a boost for those who may not have the time every day to scout every team on the schedule.
