Give owners the rights to tactics but nothing else. Nobody will want to pay 200 FP for not being able to do anything. Would be good for owners who can't be bothered with recruiting and just want to try out tactics etc.

I realize it's essentially on the list, but come on now. This is a business. Anyone who has ever worked in a business knows that you can't be passive in customer service. Maybe the idea is flawed, but the fact of the matter is that GLB needs a better system for retaining new members. Most of the guides in FAQ are out dated as it is.

I'd be willing to do a new updated FAQ on some sections once I have some free time.

The guides do need updating tbh but GLB Wiki is pretty good for that sort of stuff

As a person who regularly signs players to the D-Leagues, I like the idea in the OP. I agree, however, that it is probably NGTH.

If it can't happen, why not eliminate D-League team forums entirely and replace them with a site wide D-League forum accessible to only those with a player in the D-Leagues? Team forums at that level aren't helpful anyway since Rookie/Soph D-League Teams only have 5-10 human players and no one uses the forums. Any information in the forums is also often outdated and can only lead to confusion.

With a site-wide D-League forum (which I would envision only for the Rookie/Soph level), there will be a larger base of people to try and get some conversation going. Anyone who wants to mentor new users could also simply create a D-League player to gain access to the forum.

another thing is does GLB send an automated message to new members? I can't remember if they did or not, but if so that would be a great way to make said new FAQ/guide more accessible, imo.

Futile suggestion.

The people who "want GLB to thrive" don't actually want to help it do so.

See: GLBWiki...people would rather bitch and rant on the forums about inaccurate information rather than fix it.

I've done quite a bit to help out new users and tried to keep them here, tbh. Not really sure who the fuck you're talking about.
