No, never needed anything beyond the basic windows firewall . I honestly was not searching porn. I do that from a different computer, lol. My kids have a tendency to use the one that is now infected even though they both have their own computers.

Has nothing to do with a virus, it's a website issue that happened due to games being behind and the time change

Almost same thing that happens to me!
I get below when I try to go to my home page.

Always got to have an anti virus program man. Download the free AVG program. Works awesome and its free

He knows that. He was asking in general how to get rid of a virus that his computer has though.

Do you have a second computer? If so than use your 2nd computer and type into the "search engine" what the virus is saying or what the problem is and there will be a ton of links that come up to explain how to get rid of it. Some of the links will be trying to sell you their anti virus program but ignore it. There will be other links that offer free programs or instruction on how to remove it.

Same here.It's because of the time change. It somehow screwed things up.
